Hi guys
I have a 1967 series 1.5 I think. My car is a UK car but then went to South Africa and then to New York and then back to England.
On the heritage certificate I says it’s a series 1. 4.2
Date of manufacture 31 Oct 1967
Chassis number 1E 51075 BW
The only thing that seems to be anything of the series 2 on my car is the bonnet open head lights
I read the artical in the December issue about the girls who bought a 1.5. 1967 and it turned out to be a series 1. Could my bonnet have been changed for the safety regs in USA.
Does anyone know how I can confirm my identity of my car
If any body can give me any advice I would be greatfull.
Cheers harvey

Your car should have the S1 bumpers with the S1.5 open headlights. (They are different to a S2). If you have a S2 bonnet, l would guess it has been changed.
