#1 Radius Arm Bolts

Post by AshM » Wed Feb 28, 2018 4:19 pm

Was wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with the supply of the large bolts that connect the Radius Arms back up to the body (through the large rubber donut) on the IRS?

SNG have supplied bolts that are both longer than the originals and do not seem to be the correct thread either. As always extremely helpful when I discussed it with them but they are adamant the bolts supplied are correct.

I can obviously source similar bolts from other nut/bolt suppliers but need them drilled for the locking wire so ideally would prefer the correct part.

Any thoughts?

thanks

I got these bolts recently from SNGB and they went in to the captive nuts fine (new Robey bodywork). Perhaps a PO may have rammed the wrong bolts into yours and messed the threads up?

Thanks for replies; appreciated as always. Will do some more checks (when I can get through the snow to the workshop!)
