My 1969 series 2 has previously been fitted with static seat belts coloured black. I was thinking of changing them to a more pleasant colour, but I was wondering what colour options would have been available in 1969/70? I have got some sampled of grey, silver, green (my car has suede green interior). I seem to remember early belts were more silver/grey but my silver/grey matter is not as clear as it used to be!

#2 Re: Seat belts
Hi Andy...dont know if there were options on colour but my 69 2+2 were also black.....do you realise that the usual suppliers only supply belts for ots/fhc....and not the longer 2+2 belts.....i had a set made to a colour more suited to my Barley interior. ... Steve

I thought silver grey was quite common in the 60s, then black in the 70s, and that colour coordinated belts was more of a 80s/90s thing. But I may be wrong. My car had silver grey, original fitment.
