I am appealing to anyone who may have a copy of the Interim Parts Catalogue IPL.10 for V12 E-types.
This is a red card covered simple typed/roneod booklet, and was issued as an interim measure pending the publication of the more formal Spare Parts Catalogues.
I want to establish if there were any changes to SECTION 17 PAGE 1 relative to my IPL.10 which is AM.1 of 9.71 (so an ammended page dated Sept 1971).
So am looking for an IPL.10 that Section 17 Page 1 is plain/undated, or indeed one with AM.2, AM.3 etc if they actually do exist which I doubt (Although other pages do go up to AM.8 of 5.72).
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hallo Roger
Sadly I cannot help you with your specific question but does this mean your are putting together another of your excellent articles for the e type club magazine?
It is interesting to know that IPL.10 exists, other than the ubiquitous Feb 1974 RTC 9014&9015 were there any other issues of the Series 3 Parts Catalogue?
As an aside do you have any records of recalls for the Series 3? There are none referred to in the Gaydon archive database and the only one I have come across reference to is for the rear seat latching mechanism, Recall Campagn Bulletin 74/Z/1 issued in Sept 74, applicable to all 2+2s from 1968.

#5 Re: V12E Spare Parts Catalogue
Bob,
As far as I am aware there are SIX V12 E-type SPC, and I only have five of them, thus my appeal.
First up there was the initial Interim Parts List IPL.10 that I don't have, but I estimate an early 1971 publication date.
Second there was the Second Edition of IPL.10, published May 1972, which is the original IPL.10 but with various pages reissued as Amendments AM.1 to AM.8 issued at various times prior to AM.8 issued on 5.72.
Then you get the two PC1 and PC2 (Parts Catalogue - ?? presumably) dated October 1972 for OTS and 2+2 respectively.
Then you get RTC9014 and RTC9015 published February 1974, again for OTS and 2+2 respectively.
IN addition you have the IMPARTS Bulletins that span 1969 to 1973, so includes some additional V12 E-type information in amongst XJ6/XJ12 and indeed Series 2 E-type.
I am nearing completion of my final paper on E-type Tool Kits, covering V12 E-types, to be published in THE E-TYPE magazine, to follow on straight after final installment of Series 2 E-type Tool Kits currently being published. I have a couple of annoying loose ends I would rather improve upon, and I suspect SECTION 17 PAGE 1 of the initial IPL.10 may give a clue on one of my loose ends; thus the appeal for help!
Surely someone/somewhere has a copy of the initial issue of IPL.10 - one of my very few gaps in my collection.

#6 Re: V12E Spare Parts Catalogue
David,
Many thanks for the links to the Impart Bulletins re V12E type.
I actually have (I think) a complete original set of these 1969 to 1973 Impart Bulletins in their special Impart binders, but will cross reference, and make sure nothing missing/new.
But I don't have the microfiche transparencies referenced, or at least I should say I did have them once, but haven't seen/been able to find for some years, and cant recall exactly what was on them. Hopefully just copies of all the Impart Bulletins.
