Very jealous of you all but being Easter weekend I just could not get away.

Would have good to see Angus's setup; it has such a great reputation and to put some faces to names from on here too.

Hopefully meet some of you at the SNGB event at the end of May. Was wondering if anyone going to the CBR Classic Restoration day on the 13th? Very exciting day for me - attending the event and picking up my engine which they have re-built. It has been quite a story and I must put up a post about it.

Anyway, enjoy the Open Day - hope it goes well Angus.

Best wishes all,

Ash

Finally the family program is set, and it will be a very expensive outing: kids and wife will travel along for a day shopping in London

Nevertheless, I am very excited to join the group, although regretfully not with an E car this time:

Looking forward to next weekend. I know this is the not the place for any promotion but i am happy to bring down as many orders as can be fitted into 50EE (Series 1 Roadster with a hardtop). Drop our sales team a line if you are coming along and need anything - usual numbers/email. Don forget that we will be shut on Friday as its a bank holiday so get any order in before lunchtime on Thursday.
I should, with a bit of luck, have our all-new cam covers fitted to the E-type by then too so these should be of interest.
See you all there!

Im gutted that Im away and missing this opportunity to meet all you chaps, put faces to names and talk E-Types!
Historically I tend to miss all the best parties so Im sure it will be a great success! Have fun and hopefully Ill make the next one. That will at least give me a bit more time to get more than the one seat in the car!

All ready to go and very much looking forward to tomorrow :)

Spent the entire day (no exaggeration) spring cleaning and detailing the Colt (wheels off, but no before and after shots  ) but happy to consign it to round the back for the sake of photos!

Range Rover for me. Two hours there and back on the A1 would be a pointless waste in the E-Type. I need wiggly roads!

Motorways or not; a beautiful day with perfect weather, of course I’m bringing my E-type! I have got a route from Dorset cutting out as much motorway as I can, but with 6.0 litres of fuel injected V12, it doesn’t matter!

See you guys in the morning.
Best
