Hi all

So I finally sold my beautiful series 1 FHC 4.2 and have been giving the garage a bit of a spring clean and found a load of e-type parts and was wondering what would be salvageable to someone and are they worth listing for sale?

I've got the following parts:
  • Set of cast iron manifolds, rusty and cracked and chipped
  • Old gear knob with no rubber covering on it (Not sure if this is original or not
  • Very corroded reverse lamp complete with chrome surround and Lucas lens
  • Chrome headlamp surround with slight dent in it
  • Dipstick bracket
  • Brake reservoir rubber cap
  • New pair of headlamp scoop rubber seals (SNG Barratt)
  • New pair A Post rubber seals (SNG Barratt)
  • New pair door frame seals (SNG Barratt)
  • New pair door sill seals (SNG Barratt)
  • New B Post pillar seal LH (SNG Barratt)
  • Selection of Lucas bulbs
Here are a few pictures

Would rather not throw parts away that may be useful or worth selling so any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks

Hi Trevor...yes worth putting up for sale....manifolds probably scrap.....if you want to list in the sale section you must give a price.....otherwise just list on ebay on auction and let the bidding decide value.....Steve

I’ll relist on the sale section Steve as will need to think about price and if better to sell as job lot or split up.

Thanks

Hi Trev,
I might be interested in the door sill seals if you are selling as part lots.

Having looked up the part numbers it seems the A post seals are sold as suitable for both FHC and OTS.
So if you are able I would be interested in bothe the A post seals and the sill seals.

Thanks

Tim

Is the miniature plastic grey lawnmower for sale?

My e type has been missing one of these since I got it.

Been looking for one for ages.

Ha, plastic playmobil jack stand from my son's Porsche 911 toy. Not sure he would be happy if I sold it

It's the "No More Cracks" ready mixed filler and masonary paint I'd be interested in. I'm assuming that is what all the top restoration guys are using as an environmentally friendly alternative to lead loading and 2k paint?

You post a serious question and next thing it's hijacked by numpties.

Well done selling the car.
