#1 Can anybody identify this manifold??

Post by mach2andy » Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:15 pm

In amongst the bits that came with my car is this manifold which appears to be brand new. It's not for my car I know that, but can anybody identify it for me? It will fit the rear position on my head, so I'm guessing that it's for a 4.2 engine??
Thanks in advance
Andy

I am no pro, but I think it is too angular to come from an E-Type. Mine look more flat on the lower end (been there 2 hours ago to fit the rattle plates, err, torsion bar shields).

Thanks for your replies boys. I think you're right Mark. I'm pretty sure it's part number C18399 which fits a number of saloons........
420 Saloon
Daimler Sovereign
Mk II / Mk 2 3.4, 3.8 & 340
Mk IX / Mk 9
Mk X / Mk 10 3.8
Mk X / Mk 10 4.2
S-Type 3.4, 3.8

It really needs to go to a good home. But which forum to put it on. Any suggestions?
