#1 OTS sun visors

Post by SEJohnson95 » Sat May 04, 2019 11:04 am

Afternoon all

Although I have found some lovely images for S1 OTSs with sun visors and I'm happy with the general profile of them, would somebody be able to provide me with the accurate dimensions of their sun visors please? I would like to get my 1:8 scale versions as good as I can for my model!

Thanks

Simon

(P.S., for those of you who receive the E-Type Club magazine, there will be an "official" update in next month's issue)

There were no sunvisors Factory fitted to the S1 cars I believe. They came with the S2 though.

I didn’t think so, but they are a common retrofit and I would quite like them on mine

Hope this helps. Thickness is approx 25mm at pivot point tapering down to approx 16mm at front edge (hopefully pic size is ok text reads clockwise from top, 495, 50, 75, 45, 360 and 85mm).

Perfect! Thank you, Jo, they’re the next challenge for my model. I’ve put the rail in for them already!
