#1 Touring New Zealand

Post by SESH » Sat Oct 26, 2019 7:21 am

We are currently touring New Zealand . We started in Auckland and are now in Wellington. On the way from Bulls to Foxton on state highway 1 we spotted a dark series one coupe travelling in the opposite direction.

Also visited the Southward Car Museum about 40km outside Wellington. Can definitely recommend it. On our way to South Island on Monday. Unfortunately not with the E Type!

Ah, the Len Southward Museum at Paraparaumu is one of the wonders of the Southern Hemisphere

Just one rather unpleasant tip : don't leave anything visible in your car when you park there

Hi Chris,
All our luggage was in the car, but luckily for us we didn't have any problems.
Wonderful roads and stunning scenery, only wish I had the e type here. Waterfalls, mountains, rivers, gorges, a very pleasant and very green land!
Off to Queenstown South Island on Monday finishing up after another road trip in Christchurch, just in time to watch England play the first T20 cricket against NZ.

I think there will be a few New Zealanders wiping tears away today after the rugby result. EPIC.
