Wonderful! Can I buy it for my 2 year old grandson? I can’t keep him away from my E-type. He stands on the seat and say to me, “handbrake....off Popups,”. Then he puts it into first gear, I kid you not, and looks at the accelerator pedal and says, “ ‘Aguar GO! I ask him where we are going to which he replies, “‘Oodwood!” We are not quite there with all the consonants, but we are certainly there as far as cars are concerned! Lovely!

Maybe i should make an offer to buy for my one week old grandson.
I bought him a scale model of an E-Type the day he was born. Maybe now it's time to "Upsize". :rvrence:

This is what it should look like:

Good luck with restoration as the parts are no longer available. Probably cheaper to restore the real thing!

Aah memories
I have a picture somewhere (I’ll try and find it) of me sitting in mine in my parents garden in 1960s
It was white I seem to recall...loved that car
Wish I still had it!

The door gaps are good. Almost invisible.

Have one in a similar state, given to us when the children were smaller...they are now at University, so I guess we can keep it for any possible grandchildren! Tempted to have it painted at the same time as the 2+2...

Luckily there are now some spare parts available:

Good luck!
