I like the shot with the steam engine! - the Rover looks so small and vulnerable...

I have now acknowledged it will be highly unlikely that I will be driving the Jag this summer with our present restrictions, so just at the time I would normally be waking it from it’s winter slumbers, I drove it out into the drive today. Having recently refitted the wheels, I needed to start it up, warm it through, exercise the brakes and clutch hydraulics, plus roll the tyres. It’s now back in the garage and wheels off going back to hibernation.
While out on the drive - not really all classics - but realised it was the first time I had all the Rose cars together. My wife insists on naming cars, so next to her Vince the Volkswagen, she has Freddy the Fiat. I thought you might like Freddy’s new sticker.
Stay safe out there.
Dave

Remember it well and really enjoyed the weekend, when we eventually got off the track. A couple of E Types turned up that day. We were close to by you on the track assuming you were in the car taking the photographs.

If this situation carries on then I may get time to work on this:

It was my Dads before me and the car I learnt to drive in. I’ve had it 40 plus years.

My other Classic - also 4.2 but a straight 8 flathead with splash lubrication and a 3 speed crash box. It's 33 years older than my E but is supposedly good for 125bhp and 90mph and No, I haven't tried to get it anywhere near that!

With that sort of sentimental attachment I would definitely be getting on with that! Lovely cars and have enjoyed a bit of a value increase over the last few years.

Rules…The more varied the display of vehicles the better, but as this is an E type forum all those attending the show must include at least a glimpse Of an E.

A rally in the Dordogne 2007. Technically there are three E-types here because the D-types are Lynx built on the base of an old E-type.

Image

No E-type (well a Lynx converted one) but the photo is taken in front of Bill Heynes farmhouse.
