#1 Tyre fitting recommendations, midlands.

Post by H7OB » Wed May 27, 2020 9:07 pm

My car has a set of Michelin XVS tyres with lots of tread but unfortunately they’re looking old and cracking. I’m starting to look into replacements. As most tyres seem to be on a mail order basis, does anyone have any good recommendations of fitters with experience of wire wheels and inner tubes etc on tyres not supplied by them. I’m Warwickshire, Midlands so local-ish would be preferred.
Many thanks. :thankyouyellow:

JLR Classic are just outside Coventry. I used them when I replaced the tyres on my car.

Harris Tyres on the A446 near the Belfry Hotel. 0121 311 1969

He actually specialises in agricultural tyres, but is a keen classic car owner and is very knowledgable. He used to be a dealer for Vredestein but may be able to source other brands as well.
