I have stripped and cleaned up My fuel filter bowl and it seems appropriate to have a small whisky to celebrate😊

and, I suppose, it was not your 1st fuel filter bowl that you cleaned. One more and you need a fresh bottle

Sacrilege..😂.
I must say I’m a bit of a Speyside malt fan, I find the west coast ones a little too peaty!

My car came from the US and with it my taste for Woodford Reserve.

“Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey”

In truth I like all whisky (and Whiskey) just some more than others, depends on the mood -and the need!
Series 1 FHC purchased 40 years ago. Courted my wife in it.
Series 1 2+2 when the kids were small now sold.
Series 1.5 OTS in opalescent maroon, Californian car. My retirement present.

And there is always room for that elusive/exclusive bottle of 18yo Glenmorangie.

Pete, I have lots of bottles of Bells, given to me by close relatives who know I like a wee dram but don't know their Whisky from their whisky, that can be used in a parts washer.

Julian, I guessed as much but couldn't resist a bit of fun. That's one element of the forum to bring a smile to our faces, we can have fun WITH others, not at others' expense

c1980. Unopened, but I doubt whether ‘ageing’ a blended whisky would improve it!

I’ve moved on from single malts and now enjoy exploring dark and spiced rums.
