#1 Another Youthful Influencer Review

Post by politeperson » Sun Feb 21, 2021 9:13 pm

Glad to see another review from a popular young You-tuber.

Generally this chap reviews new super-cars.

So I was a bit worried he would be spoilt.

Its true, but Enzo never said it

Shame the idiot couldn't be bothered to wear a seatbelt,,, and doesn't he like the sound of his own voice... and hooligan driving of the mindless ( and illegal ) sort exhibited here just brings us one step nearer to having our cars banned

With friends like this jackass who needs enemies ?

Looks like seat belts were fitted. He genuinely seemed excited though, was nice to see.

Its great to see younger people getting into older cars
Its the life blood actually that they do because if they don't its a bleak future for classics
Who knows how long we will be allowed to drive them and own them after the Great reset and our conversion to Marxism!
Never liked seat belts myself
Especially being forced to wear them
I fitted some lap belts in my car
Never wear them in my modern cars if I can help it

I, for one, thought it was great
You’ve got to love his enthusiasm
He did sum up what an etype is all about too

Great looking car and a wonderful engine sound ...couldn`t think of a nicer place to be on a cold Winter`s day - all that heat from the engine and exhausts - who needs a heater

It does look and sound nice - but £300k?

BTW, what makes it pop on the over run?

Well I wouldn't like to be the person who cleaned the car after its run in the rain.
The point is younger people will still seek out the E-type after the rest of us have passed on. Motoring will be perfect (but so crushingly bland) in the new lovely electric cars.

My 3.8 coupe is just as nice (and a 3.8😊) ..cost me £12,500 9 years ago (it was in a few boxes)
I did not spend £287,000 restoring it😂
Also ..no “popping”

I still think it’s good to see the joy it brings him

I follow STG on you tube.

His channel is always interesting and if he picks a car not to my liking I don't watch it.

Contrary to comments here, I don't see him as a youngster - just a car nut - and quite what age has to do with his opinion I'm unsure.

His expectations of the E Type, it's performance and quality were clearly exceeded by this test run and he put out an interesting video.

If he has a younger personal following then this video has encouraged them to perhaps see the model / marque in a new light and surely that's a good thing?

Its a good thing.

I have watched the market for prewar America cars basically collapse over there as the enthusiastic owners get old and pass away, without the "yoof" stepping in. They are just not interested, no one seems to want them.

Porsche 911s form the 60's have captured a younger monied demographic and values and enthusiasm has risen significantly over the last 10 years.

The reason his opinion is important is because he is relatively young, and therefore his opinion is shared by others of a similar age and mindset. They may also have disposable income as well.

He also influences the opinion of others.

I think I can see enthusiasm from the E type from the younger generations, as it is not just another old car, which would be good for E-types.
