The 'E' Type Forum

I have started going thru boxes of parts I got when I bought my car 40 yrs ago. I found a ID plate, which I believe to be the original. I have no idea how previous owner got it. The car # 1E14091...body no.4e5805..I found it on XKE data, but very old post.. I'm in wi. USA. So at some point it was here in Wi. Looks like it's in Europe somewhere now. Crazy how these things get around the world. I would like to get this ID back to this car. I will gladly
send send it to current owner..........I also have Id from car #881000...body no. R7838... If car still exists,,I would send to owner.
