#1 Zeus probs?

Post by vipergts » Sat Feb 18, 2023 10:41 am

Anyone had issues with Zeus lately?

I had no problem with the initial enquiry and obtaining a price etc but then it took 3 or 4 further attempts to get a reply to wanting to place an order.

Finally I got a reply but they want full payment ahead of having the items ready for dispatch.

Anyone?

Well, as long as you pay with a credit ( not a debit ) card you are protected. It also does not surprise me that they will not despatch goods without payment having been made

I had zeus aluminium callipers and after less than one year of use about 5K miles the brakes didn't work too well, we were told by Zeus that we used racing pads (they were green stuff pads) and that they caused excessive corrosion and that the callipers were now useless, I had to replace them with CI callipers from Zues
at a discount of 20%, Cooper brakes tell me that they have not had any issues with so called "racing pads", the outcome is that I am NOT a fan of Zeus

I've had Coopercraft alloy calipers on my Ser 1 for 13 years with no problem at all, very happy with them. Surprised that you have problem with similar product from Zeus and I cannot see Greenstuff pads affecting them.
