Can anyone recall a magazine article highlighting a retired engineers on going project of fitting a V12 engine transverse into a S3 2+2.
The article must be at least 25 years old by now and was either JDC or JEC
Unfortunately the chap died part way through the build and whilst pictures showed the engine fitted behind the seats and possible the shell lengthened the car wasn’t completed.
I am curious if the car was ever finished, returned to standard or scrapped for parts.

Maybe if someone is a member of those clubs, they might have an online archive of magazines that could be checked ?
