Who sells the precut koolmat kits here on the continent (for a SI E type Coupe)?

Save your money and buy the roll rather than the "pre-cut" kit because you will be paying a premium to have to cut the already cut kit to fit! Don't think there are EU suppliers but they deliver fairly quickly from the US. This is the cutting diagram:

If time is of the essence, why bother with Koolmat? Use jute.

Hi Andrew,
I ordered the kit last january, and was very satisfied with the communication by mail and phone (they are nice and helpful).
Pat wrote me that because "We don?t have anyone in France so could send it from US... I can send the kit to you through the US Mail."
The delivery was fast once the kit cut. I must admit that until now, my kit is still in the box :oops:

Jute can't compare with Kool-mat for both heat and sound insulation. You can take a piece of Kool-mat in your hand and wrap it around the manifold of a running engine and you won't feel any significant heat penetration. It is also only about 1/8" thick so does not affect the carpet fit (you still used the standard under-carpet felt). It is also water tight if you seal the edges with silicone as instructed.

Am sure that's right David - was just thinking of time and availability for Andrew who is working against the relentless clock..

In the last fifteen months I have worked with two experienced E-type experts who were on chemo and are no longer with us.
