Good food, slalom driving and road driving, plus a bit of make-up and some fun:

A cast of thousands Chris. Every one of them going home feeling good and posting to friends and family: clever marketing.

I think DC is the last stop on the 2016 tour which took in the major centers of population. There were literally a hundred or so staff there, with a mixture of local hired help, a touring band of event professionals mostly from an LA exhibitions company, plus a small team of Jaguar staff supervising everything, and of course the fleet of cars and transporters etc.

It took about five minutes per person to sit/stand them in the mock-up sets and another five minutes to splice the shots into the action sequence for the 'convincing'' end result. Fabulously creative use of technology and indicative of a large marketing budget for two cars that HAVE to be big sellers and attract new brand supporters. I wish them well.

Rather that than blow money on the Clarksons of this world telling me their opinions. Like I said, if it ever crosses The Pond, get yourself signed up. Mark Gordon was there too.

Oh, and the XE & F-PACE were excellent as well!

I'll sign up just for the chance of feeding that pussy cat, even more beautiful than the cars.

I'll second that . Quite beautiful - more so than even that James Bond hopeful with the beard

Very good Peter, entertaining viewing and very clever marketing appealing to the Walter Mitty in us all.

However, I couldn't help thinking that the bit at the beginning, they'd got your "confidential" file mixed up with someone elses.

Pete is obviously a better actor than I am. I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I arrived, but it turned out to be a lot of fun and driving the Jag (I chose the diesel XE) was an added bonus. The Jag-designated passenger (Travis) gave me a couple of good tips for how to drive the slalom course like a real driver :swerve: and as you might expect from Jaguar, everything was first class. I hope for my British friends, that they do a similar even on your side of the Pond.

In that photo Pete looks more like Ernst Blofeld stroking his cat than 007. Crespin as a Bond villain? Yes, it works for me - it is in the eyes!
