Need Jag logo / growler, max. 20 mm diameter
#1 Need Jag logo / growler, max. 20 mm diameter
All,
I am fitting 3-point belts in my E.
The only old / period correct ones I have are a very rare static belt set from a very early Citroen Sm. They used latched Cessna-derived belts for the first 6 months, and plastic crap later. They look stunning.
They have an indention on the buckle, 20 mm wide 2 mm deep, a Citroen logo is put in there (a small alloy disc). I removed that, and would love to fit a growler there.
Any source ?
Carsten

Plenty of Jaguar key fobs available with a round growler on them, you'd have to grind the mounting bar off but I think this could be done easily with a dremel for a neat job.

At about 25 to 39 pounds each it is waaaay out, sadly.
Tried ebay, nothing around 20 mm and not cheap either.

Carsten - size wise, this is about what you need - but a European source to avoid the horrendous shipping charges.....

Try searching for Jaguar cufflinks or similar.

Just a thought...Another alternative would be to ink jet printer onto glossy adhesive paper. At least would look better than empty space in the short term until you locate exactly the right solution. You would also be able to use any online growler image to get the look you want.

Modern style, but these seem the right size.....

Carsten - don't know if you solved the problem, but this looks to be about the right size - and perhaps a little more in keeping with the period?..... (Expensive perhaps to get a pair, though)
