#1 Sense check on timing marks for electronic ignition

Post by eddiecross » Sat Apr 10, 2021 4:52 pm

Hi,
Just a quick sense check on fitting electronic ignition (Luminition) to my '67 4.2 engine:

Crank timing marks aligned for No. 6 cylinder (nearest radiator) and rotor arm aimed at front left of the car (when standing facing the engine). Checking for spark at the marks for 10 degrees btdc static tming.

Thx

Thanks. I'll pull the oil filler cap and check for that too. I did pull the distributor so good to check its not 180 out.
