If the oil isn't going to be recycled (into the engine to be burned), then I'd make a feature of a catch tank. Probably using a beer can, Guinness would be appropriate. Or something excessively over engineered, like a polished ali carb top.

Try NAR Group as they make lots of header tanks etc as well as radiators also Car Builder Solutions who supply catch tanks.

I use a Mann+Hummell Provent 200 on my (substantially modified....) 4.2 S1 2+2 engine. An excellent device. Not sure if you can squeeze one in with the standard E-Type air filter set-up though....I use an ITG filter on mine, so plenty space where the big drum used to be.....
Plenty info available on the internet, one can buy bare unit, or with a "universal" fitting kit. If you go down this road, just ensure you get a genuine (made in Germany) unit, there are a number of cheap copies on the market (made in PRC, mostly.....)
