Late mods to cooling on S1.25 car

Hi all,

Having a bit of a nightmare re assembling the cooling on my 4.2 series 1.25 car and hoping someone can help!

My car seems to have a real mix of bits

Got an early water pump (without the bypass), a 4.2l manifold with triple SU's, and a series 2 radiator.

Question is - can I hook up the sleeve thermostat without the extension piece to a series 2 rad?

My car when I bought it had a series 2 rad, this water pump without bypass, and a twin stromberg manifold with an extension piece.

I am hoping I don't have to change the water pump or radiator now I have upgraded to triple carbs!

Any help appreciated :)
