E Type 3.8 Litre, 1961. Crankshaft Damper bolt thread size ?

Hi,
I am changing the Harmonic Damper for a new unit as the rubber was breaking up.
I need to clean the thread up in the Crankshaft for the bolt.
Does any one know the thread size so I can run a tap into it to clean the threads up.
The old bolt was knackered so a new one has been purchased and I don't want to strip the threads on the bolt...

3/4" UNF 16tpi.

Same thread as rear driveshaft into hub.
