Does anyone happen to know the rough costs for converting a LHD Series 2 2+2 auto to a manual 5 speed box and also changing the carburation to triple SU's from twin Strombergs

Set of new SUs $5k plus a bit for sundries.
Gearbox figure on between $5k and $10k depending on what you buy. Plus say $1k for pedal box etc. Plus say another $2k for sundries (clutch, flywheel etc), trim bits etc etc.
Add say $2k to $5k if you get someone else to do it.

Don't forget the modifications to the transmission tunnel and radio console etc.

There's no real need to modify the tunnel going from auto to manual - it just looks a bit wider, as indeed it is
