Re trim boot

Hi
I’m re trimming my Series1 2+2
How is the trim finished in the boot where the side vinyl trim meets the supporting frame for the boot boards
Does the trim wrap over the frame or is it cut along the edge to leave the metal for the boards to sit on
Any pics would be great, have tried searching but pics are all convertibles

Hi Phil...retrimmed my S2 2+2 not long ago......the vinyl goes over the frame so the boards sit on it....on the rear section (2nd photo) there were strips of vinyl in place..the lower rear panel then goes over them....if that makes sense.... Steve
