#1 Carburator linkages repair

Post by Mich7920 » Thu Apr 05, 2018 12:23 pm

Hi,
Do you know a dealer for the small screw with a split head wich are at the top and bottom of some of the carburator linkages ?
There is some hammer dot on the head of the link ( where there is a spring and a "T" ) to securise the screw but you hurt them when you unscrew.
Purhaps have you an other solution ?
Thanks
Michel

Perhaps if you look on the SNG Barratt website here:

you will find what you are looking for.

Thanks Jerry but I don't speak about that linkage, it's parts off the linkage before this one.
I have a LHD of course.

Hi Michel...not sure what screws you want..a photo of them on the linkage would be good...if its an SU part then try Burlan http://sucarb.co.uk/?SID=1k1qt4talm8jj5esbbe8bilp97 Steve

It was clear in my head, but visibly ONLY in my head.

https://www.sngbarratt.com/uk/#!/Englis ... ROLS%20LHD

It's the small screw on the heads of the parts 15 or 9

Hope everybody understand...

You might also try Joe Curto. http://joecurto.com/

He was very helpful over the phone when I was looking for some internals.

The linkage heads (9 & 15 as you describe them) are available on eBay, certainly eBay.com as they are commonly used to control popular US carburetors.
