How can I tell whether or not I have an LSD in my S2?

Jack up both rear wheels. With the car in neutral and the handbrake off, turn one rear wheel. If the other turns in the same direction, you have an LSD, if the other turns the opposite way, then you have an open diff. Originally there would have been an additional tag on one of the diff pan fixings, but quite often these are missing now.

Hi Jerome,
I have a LSD and was recommended this:
Lodexol XFS 80W-140 Fully Synthetic Limited Slip Gear Oil
Bought from Morris lubricants online.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Rich
