#2 Re: Changing differential ratio
Yes, assuming you have a US spec S2 rather than a 3.54 S1 car, then this is only for the S1 E type....
I bought this exact one for my S2 from this place about 6 weeks ago, and it is not a match..
If you want one for the S2, then contact Alan at AJS engineering in the UK.
He has the correct replacement 3.07 unit, which is what I bought.
I hunted high and low, and this guy was the only one who had the correct item.
They are quality, and around £650

#3 Re: Changing differential ratio
Thanks for the advice that means that it will fit my S1 differential.
Or even better to contact AJS and perhaps they also have quality S1 CWP if they’re different from S2?

Yes the S1 and S2 pinion wheels are different and not interchangable.
Alan at AJS Engineering has a good reputation, and seems to be well known and recommended on this forum.
I certainly had the job done with zero fuss, and he has the diffs supplied made specifically for his customers.
He can supply S1 or S2 versions.
