#1 dynamo repair

Post by MarkRado » Mon Oct 29, 2018 2:00 pm

Hi all,
one of the armature wires came loose on the commutator and damaged the fieldcoils of my dynamo. Although I am tempted to buy something like a Dynator, I'd like to have the dynamo repaired/ restored. I kindly ask for your recommendations, thank you

I refurbished mine using parts from these guys:
Jcrsupplies.co.uk.
I’m going down the dynalite route but wanted to keep the original in case I ever decided to go back to original spec.

Thank you both,
I'll try jcr for spares and go for a dynamator in the meantime,
