#1 which size socket?

Post by malcolm » Tue Jun 04, 2019 7:41 am

What modern socket size is right for turning the engine over (to find TDC)? When I did it before I borrowed one which I think was one and a quarter whitworth? But is that right, and does anyone know a modern fit? I don't have one that fits, and don't want to randomly buy different sizes.

Hi,
I’ve been using a 34mm to turn mine over - not perfect fit but does the job.
