#1 Brake slave cylinder

Post by Thim » Thu Dec 20, 2018 4:59 pm

Hey, I'm trying to rebuild my brake slave cylinder / brake vacume cylinder. I'm now very unsure about how the retaining pin is supposed to stress the spring on the slave piston. Anyone who knows?

Hi Thim,

What I see is that your spring isn't compress and the pin isn't in place.
The pin is inside the piston and dont block it as your's.

The spring comes in support on the pin wich is just alittle bit longer than the axel.
The difficulty is to compress the spring so that the hole's pin is free.
Do that one face after one, the second isn't the more easy...

Haha, så bra! Prosjektet går ekstremt sakte da jeg er student i Trondheim og bilen er i Oslo. Men tar kontakt dersom det trengs. Hvor mye skulle du evt hatt for den?
