#1 Differential output flange not true?

Post by ysmalkie » Mon Jan 14, 2019 2:28 pm

I am wondering weather this is common.

My differential output flange (the one sitting on the output shaft and the one that you bolt the rotors to) is not true.

They are are untrue by about 0.1mm, which I think is quite a bit. It results in much higher values at edge of the rotor (about 0.6mm)

Is this common??

The differential was rebuild by a fairly respectable transmission company in UK.

I presume the only remedy is to shim the rotor?
