Hi
Just going about fitting a set of cooking and heater hoses. Anyone got any tips on how to get the new Ines on smoothly (or at all!)? I'm struggling with the bottom hose and heater return ones behind the carbs. Trying hot water and fairy liquid - anything better?

Smear the inside of the house and the outside of the metal it is to fit over with red rubber grease. Don't use Vaseline or LM grease etc....Ideally soften the pipe in warm water first....scalping knuckles will happen!

Thanks for the RRG recommendation. Never heard of it before but it is now my second favourite substance after gin...

I once spent an hour putting the clamp on the radiator bottom hose.
