Re remote bleed kits, Ward Engineering in Colchester do one for £75 (no VAT), although I have not seen it. I got mine from Rob Beere Racing (£85 plus VAT), not yet fitted but looks good. Fosseway seems to be very similar but is £115 plus VAT. You pays yer money....

Hi Gentlemen and ladies
Just fitted a remote bleed pipe which does both rear callipers together
Made up by Butlins of Swadlincote(a fine family firm of quality car engineers) for a few quid
Very easy to fit

That's interesting Robbie because I'm struggling to see how it works. Surely the bleed points need to be at the end of the pipe runs.
Is there not the risk that you will end up bleeding only one caliper?

Hi Robbie.....must admit i was thinking the same as Stuart....you would be much better off with one remote bleed nipple per caliper.....easy to do with the irs out...not so easy if you install then have soft brakes....Steve

Hi Steve/Stuart
I have this installed already on my coupe and it works fine both seem to bleed ok with no preference
In the photo the bleed nipple(left)IS at the end of the pipe run...one from one side one from the other.

I'm pleased it works for you but I would be concerned that an airlock in one side would stay put while the fluid is displaced from the side without the airlock.
I have painful memories of bleeding my 420 brakes (essentially the same as the Series 2 E Type). It took days and a few litres of fluid to get the air to move.
