#1 Cooling Fans

Anyone know if the commutator brushes are still available for S2 cooling Fans.

I believe they have the Lucas Service part Nr. BR1 743171

Looked through E Bay and all the usual Jaguar parts supplies, without any success.

Thanks

Try Steve Hunt , advertises on eBay as Tankard03.

I’m sure I bought some from him a while ago.

If you happen to go to stoneleigh then he usually has a stall - may be a bit far to travel for a set of brushes !

Try XK's Unlimited in California, USA. Usually have them.

It is relatively easy if not a bit fiddly to replicate replacement brushes from generic 6mm x 6mm carbon brushes and crimp them (gently) back in the steel brush holders.
