Hi can anyone tell me the length of the outer choke cable for a 3.8 FHC .Mine seems to short, has to be routed across heater flap.Ordered a new one, outer cable only measures 27 inches seems to short as well?

Thanks Adam

That's normal. And bloody annoying.

What I have done in the past is gone to a lawn mower place and bought a generic throttle cable. It needs to have a very stiff single wire inner core to work. You can then cut it to length.
