Hi, fitting a new loom to my 63 fhc lhd. I think it’s auto sparks, but came via Sng Barratt, the left hand rear body loom has a green/brown wire for the fuel sender. I can’t find it’s mate on the dash loom, everything else is fine just a missing green/brown. Any thoughts appreciated. Chris.

According to the wiring diagram, greenbrown (GN) is allocated to the flasher. Greenblack (GB) should be the wire from fuel sender to instrument. Some years ago a loom from autosparks we ordered for a P5 Rover was missing a wire altogether by the way.

Apologies, I meant the reversing light wire (late night/lots of wires :scratchheadyellow: ) there is a short green/brown (GN) from the flasher unit to the indicator switch, but this is separate.
It’s odd because I have GN wires in both side looms when I only need one, but can’t find a home for either. There is a 2’ long Separate lead G/GN to go from dash loom to rev switch, but only a home for the green. The GN from either side loom is too far away. There’s either a wire missing or I’m doing something daft. ( almost certainly the latter)...

The Autosparks looms do this. I assume it's easier than making special LHD vs RHD ones.
