Looking at fitting a power steering to my car. Reading through the the threads it seem only two companies in the game, EZ. £2,950 or Lite Steer around £2,000.
There is mention of using a corsa unit for around £200 but no write about it or if it works.
Anybody know of any more and ideas or thoughts

Thanks for that Andrew, I did read these posts but was hoping someone may have fitted the Easy steer which is £1,000 pound cheaper than the EZ system.
So if anybody has fitted one is their E Type let me know what you think.

Interesting. I hadn't heard of them.
I had a quick look at their website http://www.simonebirchall.co.uk/
It looks like what they do is retrofit a GM power steering unit. Certainly the price looks more attractive than the EZ Steer units.
It looks like they do most of their stuff for Cortinas, VW hatches and similar vehicles. There may be more info on one of the Cortina or VW forums.

#5 Re: Electric power steering
Thanks Andrew,
I thought there would be a lot more people who have electric power steering on the forum. It helps if you can get recommendations. It would seem the EZ unit is the better product and probable less hassle to fit, but at a £1000 more one has to wonder if it is that much better
