#1 Identity of small bracket?

Post by Robbiee » Fri Jun 12, 2020 1:25 pm

Hi
Does anyone know what this little hook/bracket is for ?

I found it attached just in front of the voltage regulator near the battery

Maybe its not original

Any advice?

Don’t remember finding one of those on mine. Looks like it might have held cable harness in place? A quick look in factory fit doesn’t show it so must be a p/o ‘mod’?

I dont remember that being there on my late series 1. nor can I think of a reason for it. From the picture you posted it does have an original look ??

Please let us know what it is, if you discover ??

Rekon it might be some sort of after market battery clamp bracket affair....

Hi Robbie
I think the one on the right is one off the two brakets for fixing the facia ( BD20566 )
The black one is certainly the "abutment clamp" #61 - plate 55 - C18571 / Control cable heater.

I don't recognise the other one.
