Can anyone tell me how the rear hatch seal is fitted-secured before I start removing mine?
It looks like a repro part because the rubber went grey and started cracking/splitting within a couple of years of the prior resto.
The replacement comes in two parts so any tips on achieving a good fit at the joints would be welcome too.
Rear hatch seal - how is it fitted?

It's just glued in.
I've tried contact adhesive and superglue but I prefer E6000 for this seal because it gives you plenty of time to get the seal seated correctly.
I run a generous bead of glue around the channel on the car, put the seal in place and close the door down to hold it in place until the glue has gone off.
