#1 S2 and S3 seat covers

Post by tinworm » Thu Sep 24, 2020 1:30 pm

Anyone know what the semi perforated leather was called used on S2/3 seat facings ? As I could do with finding an offcut to repair a S2 seat cover .

Hello Steve, it seems there is perforated and perforated . This set are probably original and came from a S3 . One pleat is damaged on the drivers cushion. As you can see from the photo it is not perforated but it looks embossed to me the indents do not go all the way through.
The leather may be known as perforated - for all I know
Anyone have this or is it universal ?

Done a bit of research and the pattern is probably original Jaguar only - unless anyone knows different. So my best bet is to find another seat cover of similar vintage and scavenge.
Anybody got an old seat cover going begging with the same pattern ?

Hello Steve looks like Aldridge have had their leather made pretty closely to the original judging by your cover - which looks very nice by the way. I have not found it anywhere on the open market .

Which colour needed? I might have the (black?) remnants you are welcome to have, if it suits your needs. I aggree on the more embossed design, rather than being fully pentrated.
