#1 Lithium Starter Packs

Post by Retroman » Sun Mar 05, 2023 6:13 pm

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a starter pack make that actually works on 4.2 engines.
I have now tried two to add to my touring backup kit and neither of them crank the engine sufficiently even though they are supposedly for petrol cars up to 8 litres!
Nigel.

I use this one with great success on multiple cars including V8's, buy the 2000mAh, it was £67 when I bought two of them. only let me down when the car battery was completely drained and empty.

Not sure what make you have but mine has a booster button for when batteries are really flat. Does yours have one and have you tried it on boost.
