#1 Hole In LHS Sill-End Panel - What For Please ?

Can anyone tell me what this hole is for ? Outlined in Red.

In exchange I'll tell you why there's a yellow dot on that bolt-head.

No idea - one in mine as well! For inspection purposes?
To let water out when the leaky sill overflows? :lol:

In the technical knowledge base there is a firewall/bulkhead diagram

About three quarters the way down the page. The diagram suggests air filter bracket, but that can’t be correct as that’s on the rhs of the car even on a sinister car.

Hope that’ll answer your question. No it doesn’t, ah well back to the better qualified and experienced :roll:

I can add to the list of those who aren't sure but given that the car bodies had to be both left and right handed it might be for something on a RHD car.
