#1 Quick release steering wheel boss.

Post by Paul bow » Tue Mar 12, 2024 11:34 am

Hi guys has anyone had success with the e type quick release steering wheel kit?
I’m after one purely for security reasons, (hoping that if a potential theiving b’stard was to see no steering wheel he/she ……would prob not bother!), as planning some trip around Europe and parking prob won’t be always secure.
CMC used to make one, but had problems, and at present it’s not available, there was another company but I can not recall, any help greatfully appreciated.
Previously...S1 OTS E type (sold)
S1 2+2 manual. (Sold)
S2 rhd OTS full resto finished 8/23
S1 3.8 coupe (full restoration yet to start!)

I think the company was called Superspoke but I can’t see anything on the web

Caveman…. Try superspoke they were extremely helpful, however if you look at Steve’s post above NRG are also very good, however you do need to do a few simple mods, and may not be quite as authentic looking as the other 2, however, none of them are authentic so to me it makes no difference at all ..👍
