#1 Headlight
I have series 1.5 , driver side headlight issue. Main beam works but headlight doesn’t. Have replaced headlight same issue. Any ideas anyone?

If it's not the lamp, then it's a wiring issue. Have you tested the lamps off the car to determine if they function on both low and high beam?
If lamps have been verified good, and the issue only applies to the one lamp, then it's a wire or connection in the nose of the bonnet, downstream from the bonnet connector at the lower front of the left front wheel arch. Not sure how to gain access to the inside of the nose on a 1.5 (S1's you just remove the headlamp covers and 'sugar scoops'). In any case, there is a terminal block and I believe bullet connectors at various points in the bonnet loom. Most likely you simply have a disconnected or corroded/dirty connection. Good news is that, once you can see the loom, it's pretty simple and should be fairly easy to troubleshoot.
