#1 Bonnet weight

Post by Antoun » Sun Mar 13, 2011 11:10 pm

Well I was thinking about changing my original bonnet (of course I will keep it safely...) by a fiberglass model.

So I would like to know what is the weight of an original bonnet and a fiberglass one ? I already know that an aluminium bonnet weights 28 kgs.

If anyone as an answer...

I read somewhere that it’s about 50kg without lights, bumper trim etc.

All I know for sure after taking mine off a few weeks back... it’s bloody heavy!!
