Hello

there are many books around.
The famous Haddock for 6cyl and V12, but out of print; sometimes on ebay.
You also have tow recents easy to use and practical guides, written by
Peter Crespin (himself owner of jags and E's) : you can find these
on http://www.veloce.co.uk/shop/products/search.php

search Jaguar E type and you will find two books.
No affiliation and any interest... just happy my car is on the cover of the V12 book :D

Further, you can find some sites with restoration history on www.xkedata.com (look for links and then have a look)

hope that helps

best regards

A small but informative book is:
"The essential buyer's guide" Jaguar E-type by Peter Crespin
ISBN 1904788858

I sourced mine from http://www.motorbooks.co.uk/ they have a shop in Cecil Court, London.

Duncan.
