Finally my two post lift is up and running and I`m able to work on the car again.
I did change the spring, and the rubber on both sides for the spring. Havent been able to test it yet so I dont know if this did the trick or not.

One thing i did notice, on the pin that goen from the gearbox and through the spring and bracket there is a small hole. Is this for s split ring or something? Looks like I`m missing something, but I cant find anything missing if I look in the part list.

Anyone know?

The hole in the pin isfor a split pin to be used to lock the gearbox against excessive up and down movement during transport of the car when new, ( particularly by sea ) . When the car is ready to be commissioned, the pin is removed, allowing the gearbox to float on the spring. So yours is correct

Thank you.. :)

Looks like everything is in place then.
Hopefully I will be able to test it soon, just need to install the new exhaust and fix the handbrake.

Thought I should give an update

Did some testing afterwards and it didnt really go away.
Today I removed the gearbox tunnel cover in order to remove the propshaft when I realized two things:
1: It looks like someone forgot to tighten the propshaft bolt, found them loose allowing the propshaft to move slightly relative to the output flange on the gearbox
2: The UJ was really bad with a lot of play

I think those two things combined might be what I was feeling and hopefully it will be good now. Of course I`m changing everything besides the gearbox it self so it is not easy to know what was the cause if the problem is now gone.

Did replacing the u/j solve the vibration?
Or did you find something else?
