Looks similar to mine, S2 hence 4.2L
Edited to add: SNGB catalogue shows part no C25261 for the S2, but doesn't show on a search or for the earlier part numbers, closest is:

Page 31 of Haddock's book shows the breather as being standardized to U.S. spec for all cars, commencing with chassis numbers 1E1252/3, 1E11048/9, 1E20691/2, 1E31077/8.
My '66 FHC (1E32208) had one identical to the one shown in the photo, while my very early 4.2 (1E30036) had one with a smaller outlet and a flat top. This was most likely taken from the last of the 3.8-litre cars' parts bins to use up remaining stock.
